Club Ohio will be providing tryouts during several opportunities in May for players u7-u16 (Birth Years: 2016-2007) interested in our teams and programming. This new process will allow families flexibility when having their players evaluated.
Our teams are comprised of players from all Dayton communities. Our U11-U16 teams draw from all areas, and for our U7-U10 teams, we have two convenient locations that our teams are based out of so that you can play closer to home, Huber Heights (HH) and Bellbrook (BB). We have the following teams in each location in case you are curious about a specific team and you will see that reflected on the U7-U10 schedules.
Read through our flier about some of the benefits of joining Club Ohio Dayton.
Each age group will get a communication reminder directly on dates/times in May to attend a tryout once registered.
What is a Trapped Player?
Many of the U15 players may be playing for their High School in Fall Season and return to their club team in November. So what can U15 players going into 8th grade do, they are trapped, right? For these players, Club Ohio will create a Fall Team Program while their teammates play high school soccer.
Players will train locally. Depending on roster numbers, your local group may combine with other Club Ohio locations and participate in two tournaments. After the Fall Season, trapped players will join their teammates on their regular U15 teams.
What is included in the U15 Fall Team program?
Pricing is listed separately for each location in their fees.
* Your Fall U15 t-shirt number may differ from your regular kit. Since the Fall U15 team may be combined with players from different locations, we need to ensure your t-shirts is unique. It will serve as tops for the Fall Team kit while the rest of your regular kit will be worn.
How do U15 Trapped Players tryout?
U15 players will tryout as they regularly do. However, they can notify the coach that they will be an 8th grader in the Fall and would like to join the U15 Fall Team program.
Club Ohio fees provide you with professional coaches. It covers all league and association fees, player registration, field development, field rental, turf field rental, goalkeeper training, referee fees, league membership costs, club dues, all tournament entry costs, and indoor training. Specific team fees will be communicated directly with those who register for tryouts.
All players selected to play on a Club Ohio team will have the opportunity to participate in the club fundraiser. This fundraiser will be a raffle, and each player can sell twenty tickets to get up to a $100 off total fees per player. The yearly fundraiser helps support future field development and club programs.
