Club Ohio becomes the sixth new club to commit to playing in the 2021 season of the Ohio Valley Premier League (OVPL). Costa Kalorides, the General Manager for Club Ohio added, “We are excited to be part of the OVPL and are eager to compete this summer. After discussions with club leadership, we felt that joining the OVPL would provide us the opportunity to offer another important developmental stage for our players. We look forward to working with the league, and other club members, as we begin planning for the upcoming season.”
The OVPL was created to operate the only premier U23 adult amateur soccer competition throughout the Ohio Valley (Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia) region. Player development is a central focus of the League, as the league strives to promote the region at a national level. With the addition of Club Ohio, the men’s division involves 22 clubs and the women’s division includes 6 clubs.
